You the guiltless one became guilty that the guilty world might become guiltless.

O Lord thank you for taking my sin on your innocent self, for becoming sin for the world, for me. O Lord, I am humbled, sad and joyful all at once, grieved over my sin and grateful for my deliverance; grieved that you had to die and thankful that you did. King of all glory, Lord of all life, winner of salvation at such a high cost. Forgive my self-righteousness that I could even imagine that I could be good enough that you would not have to die.
