The Three Questions: Why give? To whom? How much?
If you want to honor God with your money, then you want to know what God says about giving. Somewhere on their journey to maturity in Christ, sincere Christians ask these three fundamental questions:
- Why should you give away any of your money? In other words, what motivates you to give in the first place? At first glance, it seems like you would have less if you gave some away.
- If you do decide to give, to whom should you give your money? There are lots of good organizations and important causes. We are all bombarded with requests. In the Bible, God reveals divine priorities for the recipients of our generosity.
- And finally, how much money does God want you to give? Some people teach “the tithe.” Others say give until it hurts. God gives you guidance to answer this question.
In Giving, Miller provides clear answers to these important questions. And he gives you a study guide based on the WISDOM Process. This is a great book to use in a small group study. Practical exercises enable you to put the insights directly into action.

Leading a Church in a Time of Sexual Questioning
Grace-Filled Wisdom for Day-to-Day Ministry
Many books have been written about marriage and single sexuality, LGBT people, and what the Bible says about these issues. Opinions are divided and discussions often hostile and polarizing. But Christian leaders agree that they want their churches to be places of grace, loving communities where everyone can flourish in Christ and disagreements are overcome in a Christlike spirit. So, how does a church do that and stay true to its biblical standards? Bruce Miller offers help beyond platitudes with a biblical theology of sexuality, how to talk to church leadership and members, a fresh vision for singleness, a broader view of masculinity and femininity, and wise pastoral options for people who identify as LGBT.
Bruce also addresses a wide range of day-to-day decisions, such as baby dedications, small groups, who can serve, membership, baptism, retreats, the Lord’s Supper, weddings, funerals, teaching, and hiring and firing.

Never The Same
A Fresh Look at the Sermon on the Mount
Jesus shocked and offended his original audience because he turned most people’s view of life upside down. Many of us are familiar with famous lines in history’s most influential speech, such as: “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you,” “Turn the other cheek,” “Go the extra mile,” and “Don’t Judge.” However, this very familiarity dulls our minds to what Jesus is really saying. Follow Jesus’ kingdom vision and you will stand out as a bright light in this dark world, stand up when storms come, and step up to receive God’s eternal reward. Jesus calls us to be all-in, holding nothing back. You will never be the same! This book also offers a unique study guide based on the WISDOM Process© for your own study, and for small groups who want to read the book together to explore Jesus’ longest address.
Same-Sex Wedding: Should I Attend?
A Wise Way to Develop Your Own Response
With pain in his eyes, torn between fatherly love and personal conviction, Mark asked me how to respond when his only daughter, who had told her family she was a lesbian, called to share she had met the love of her life, and asked him to walk her down the aisle.
Rather than arguing for only one answer, this short book gives you a way to develop your personal response in your unique situation. Using the WISDOM Process©, this study offers you a wise way to think through the issue, considering multiple factors, informed by relevant biblical texts and articles from varying points of view.
Christians disagree on whether or not to attend a same-sex wedding. We dive into the controversy, and discover more options than simply to go or not to go.
a bold call to the church in response to the Supreme Court's decision

In response to a cultural crisis, the church should step up with a Christlike response that stuns the world, that causes them to ask who are these people?—a response that draws people to Jesus Christ with counter-cultural love.
Your Church in Rhythm
The Forgotten Dimensions of Seasons and Cycles
Bruce Miller debunks the idea of balance—basically trying to have it all, all the time. Most churches and their pastors try to do everything at once and feel guilty if any one aspect is neglected. He replaces the exhausting concept of balance with the idea of rhythm: churches, like people, need to give attention to different programs and ministries at different times, basically by attending to their seasons and cycles.
